WIKISPACES
www.wikispaces.com
Wikispaces allows your learners to create a website. It also includes tools for collaboration.
It's a place that lets anyone become a participant. Depending on the wikispaces settings, this website can be continuously “under revision.”
Using a wiki, your learners can create an online portfolio of writings (or videos), can share
notes from class, have one location to put a variety of resources for a project.
An example: During the 1920's part the history (http://www.freetech4teachers.com/2012/03/5-things-you-can-do-with-wikis.html) U.S. History curriculum each student can create a page on a wiki about a theme from that decade. Themes that the students cover are fashion, entertainment, and sports.
