WIKISPACES
www.wikispaces.com
Wikispaces allows your learners to create a website. It also includes tools for collaboration.
Using a wiki, your learners can create an online portfolio of writings (or videos), can share notes from class, have one place to put a variety of resources for a project.
An example: During a U.S. History class' study of the 1920's, each student can created a page on the wiki about a theme from that decade. Themes that the students covered included fashion, entertainment, and sports. The students uploaded all their information, photos, videos, etc. onto the wiki. Others could view the information, edits could be made, more material added. The final product (and while it's in progress) can be shared with others.
